The WhereItGoes dashboard on a sample crypto portfolio: one total across every connected exchange and wallet, a value chart, a plain-language read-out of the day, and top holdings with price, amount and share of the portfolio.
The dashboard, on a sample portfolio. It is a still of the live demo, which needs no account.

Every account, one map

Each trade, transfer and fee reconstructed into a single graph, so a move between your own accounts reads as a move and not as a sale. Drag a node.

Sample data. Your own map is built from your accounts, and nothing here leaves the browser until you connect one.

Who it is for

Three shapes of portfolio, and the problem each one runs into.

Traders across venues

Spread over several exchanges and wallets, where no single account shows the real position and the totals never quite agree.

On-chain, many wallets

Multiple addresses across multiple chains, buried in airdrops, dust and tokens that borrowed a real coin’s ticker.

Long-term self-custody

Fewer transactions, held for years, where the question is net worth over time and the story of how it got there.

What it connects to

Binance, OKX, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, Upbit, MEXC, HTX. Plus 52 networks by public address: 34 EVM chains, plus Bitcoin, Solana, XRP Ledger, Dogecoin, Cardano, Tron, Bitcoin Cash, Hedera, TON, Polkadot, Litecoin, Stellar, Sui, Aptos, NEAR, Starknet, Constellation and Provenance. A name handle like vitalik.eth works in place of an address.

9 of the 11 exchanges hand over their full history with no API window at all. The other 2 cap it themselves, and that ceiling applies to every tracker, not just this one. We publish each venue’s limit rather than leave you to discover it.

Every exchange and what it gives you

How the numbers are produced

A portfolio tracker is worth as much as the reasoning behind its numbers, so ours is written down. Nobody else in this category publishes their reconciliation or cost-basis logic, which means that for these questions a reader is otherwise guessing about every tool on the market, including this one.

How far back we can rebuild your history

How WhereItGoes reconstructs your full transaction history from 11 exchanges and 52 chains, and exactly where each venue's own API stops, which is the real ceiling on any tracker.

Moving your own coin is not a sale

How WhereItGoes detects that a withdrawal from one account and a deposit into another are the same coin moving, so a transfer between your own wallets is never counted as a sale plus a repurchase.

How we calculate cost basis and profit

WhereItGoes computes realised profit with FIFO on the server and shows average cost on asset pages, values income at its receipt-day price, and refuses to invent a cost basis it does not know.

How we decide what a token is worth

WhereItGoes prices on-chain tokens by their contract address rather than their ticker, falls back across several price sources, and leaves genuinely unpriceable tokens unpriced instead of guessing.

How we handle spam and scam tokens

WhereItGoes classifies junk tokens by contract address rather than by ticker, keeps them out of your totals and lists, and puts them in a recoverable trash instead of deleting them.

What we do with your keys and your data

WhereItGoes reads exchange accounts through read-only API keys and wallets through public addresses only. It never takes custody, never asks for a private key or seed phrase, and has no mechanism to move funds.

What WhereItGoes does not do

The honest limits of WhereItGoes: no downloadable tax reports, no live DeFi position valuation, minimal NFT support, no mobile app, and the per-exchange history ceilings we cannot get around.

The overview, and what we refuse to guess

Free is the whole picture

Free is capped on how many accounts you connect, and to one account per exchange, never on what you see. No transaction caps, no history cut off: every account you connect gets the complete picture.

Pro is for when you want it live, deeper and portable: auto-syncing, the advisor layer, alerts, CSV and PDF export, and unlimited accounts.

Before you connect anything

Is it free?

Yes, and not as a trial. Free caps how many accounts you connect, currently 2 exchanges and 5 wallets, and never caps what you can see.

Which exchanges and blockchains does it support?

11 exchanges including Binance, OKX, Coinbase and Kraken, plus 52 chains by public address, from Ethereum and its layer twos to Bitcoin, Solana and Tron.

Do I have to import CSV files?

No. Connect a read-only API key or paste a public address, and the history is reconstructed for you.

How far back can it rebuild my history?

As far back as the exchange will serve it, which is the ceiling for any tracker. Nine of the eleven we support return full history with no window at all.

Does it do crypto tax reports?

No. It computes cost basis and realised profit, but it does not produce a filing. If a tax return is the goal, a dedicated tax tool is the better choice.
