Is WhereItGoes safe to use?

Yes. WhereItGoes is a read-only tracker. It reads your balances and history to show you the picture; it never holds your funds and has no way to move them.

Can it withdraw or trade my funds?

No. Exchange connections use read-only API keys, and we ask for no trade or withdraw permission. For wallets we only read public addresses. There is no path for the app to send a transaction.

Do you touch my private keys or seed phrase?

Never. We never ask for them and there is no field to enter one. We read public wallet addresses only, exactly like a block explorer does.

What if your servers were breached?

Accepted Answer

No. The worst case exposes read-only data and read-only keys, which cannot move funds. API keys are stored encrypted, and you can revoke any exchange key instantly from the exchange itself.

Do I have to do KYC or upload ID?

Accepted Answer

No KYC, no ID, no sign-up forms. You sign in with your wallet or a Google account and start tracking right away.

Is it safe to share my public wallet address?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A public address is meant to be shared and reveals nothing a block explorer does not already show. Only your seed phrase can move funds, and we never ask for it.
